A copy of ID is required in all cases when picking up a vehicle.
To purchase the vehicle, it must be paid for in full, unless otherwise agreed with the seller. Until then, there is no valid agreement, and the purchase may be cancelled by us.
For exports: Additional costs related to BPM (Dutch vehicle registration tax) are often added to the export price of passenger cars. For sales within the EU, a deposit equal to the BPM amount may be charged. To receive the deposit back, we require permanent EU registration of the vehicle within 10 weeks. In many cases, it is possible to avoid the deposit. Ask the seller about the possibilities.
For all roadworthy vehicles with a Dutch license plate and a valid APK, we can issue a transit license plate for you at our office within 10 minutes:
- Valid for 14 days for €150
- over 3,500 kg for € 200.00
In many cases, we can also apply for an export license plate for cars with foreign license plates within 3 working days. Price €700 (provided the car has a valid inspection certificate).
In the case of an intra-community supply, we require to receive at least the following information from you: the company's Chamber of Commerce extract and a valid EU VAT number, a copy of the entrepreneur's identification, and a minimum down payment of 20% of the bank account of the relevant company.
For all VAT vehicles leaving the EU, we require a deposit of 20% of the total invoice amount. As soon as you have informed us and we can verify, using the provided customs document (EXa), that the vehicle has left the EU, we will refund your deposit as soon as possible.
