When collecting a vehicle, a copy of ID is mandatory in all cases.
To purchase the vehicle, a minimum of 20% of the total amount must be paid in advance – in consultation with the seller. (Confirmed by us.) Until then, there is no valid agreement.
When exporting: In addition to the export price of passenger cars, there are often additional costs related to the BPM. When selling within the EU, a deposit may be charged equal to the BPM amount. In order to get the deposit back, we need a permanent EU registration of the vehicle within 10 weeks. In many cases, it is possible to avoid the deposit. Ask the seller for the possibilities.
For all drivable vehicles with a Dutch license plate and a valid MOT, we can make a transit license plate for you at our office within 10 minutes:
- Valid for 14 days for € 150,--
- above 3,500 kg for € 175.00
Also for cars with foreign license plates we can apply for an export license plate within 3 working days in many cases. Price € 500, -. (provided there is an inspection on the car)
In the case of intra-Community delivery, we must receive at least the following information from you: Chamber of Commerce extract of the company and valid EU VAT number, copy of the entrepreneur's identification and a minimum (down) payment of 20% from the bank account of the company concerned.
For all VAT vehicles that go outside the EU, we charge a deposit of 20% of the total invoice amount. As soon as you have informed us and we can verify by means of the provided customs document (EXa) that the vehicle has left the EU, we will refund your deposit as soon as possible.
