When collecting a vehicle, a copy of ID is mandatory in all cases.
To purchase the vehicle, it must be paid in full, unless otherwise agreed with the seller. Until then, there is no valid agreement, and we may cancel the purchase.
When exporting: On top of the export price of passenger cars, there are often additional costs related to BPM (private car tax). For sales within the EU, a deposit equal to the BPM amount may be charged. To reclaim the deposit, we require a permanent EU registration for the vehicle within 10 weeks. In many cases, it is possible to avoid the deposit. Ask the seller about the options.
For all drivable vehicles with Dutch license plates and a valid MOT, we can create a transit license plate for you at our office within 10 minutes:
- Valid for 14 days for € 150.00
- above 3,500 kg for €200.00
In many cases, we can also apply for an export license plate for cars with foreign license plates within three business days. The price is €500 (provided the car has a valid inspection).
In the case of an intra-Community supply, we must receive at least the following information from you: a Chamber of Commerce extract of the company and a valid EU VAT number, a copy of the entrepreneur's identification, and a minimum deposit of 20% from the bank account of the company in question.
For all VAT-exempt vehicles shipped outside the EU, we require a deposit of 20% of the total invoice amount. Once you have informed us and we can verify that the vehicle has left the EU using the provided customs document (EXa), we will refund your deposit as soon as possible.
